The Power Conditioner PC 900-NR feeds fieldbus participants connected to FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 segments in accordance with IEC 61158-2. It offers the necessary impedance matching for coupling 1A of supply current onto the 2-wire bus line. A higher availability of the segment can be achieved, using Power Feed Modules in conjunction with the Power Rail PR 900-N or Termination Unit TU 900-NR4.
Benefits:
- Reduction of the fieldbus segments: Through the capability of supplying 1A by up to 29 V DC, the length of the fieldbus can be extended and power supply is no longer the limiting factor with respect to number of FF devices per segment.
- Easier topology design: The Power Conditioner provides a switchable bus termination.
- Redundant power supply: is possible by using the Termination Unit TU 900-NR4.
- Easy cabling: Using the Power Conditioner together with the Termination Unit or Power Feed Modules, the cabling is simplified.
