Series 100 (S100) I/O is available for the Advant Controller 400 Series. The S100 direct I/O system consists of I/O modules with 4 to 32 channels, depending on type, which are placed in the I/O subracks.
The interface consists of one or more I/O racks with several I/O boards, connection units and cables covering a wide variety of applications and specific needs. The I/O boards are divided into groups, depending on their function. Within each group, there are several I/O boards with differing functionality and complexity.
The Advant Controller 410 includes an integral S100 I/O Card File. The Advant Controller 460 interfaces to up to three S100 I/O subracks through a single or redundant interface module and cables.
