The
MOD 300 Multibus Console, introduced in 1984, was designed with the flexibility to configure the operator interface to effectively meet application requirements. A console can support from 1 to 4 CRTs. It is based on Multibus cardfiles and may commonly be referred to as multubus consoles. A console supported touchscreen and three different keyboards: an Alphanumeric Keyboard, the Operator Control Panel, and the Page Selector Alarm Panel (PSAP).
The Multibus Console is now in its Limited phase where it is not actively sold. New or reconditions hardware is available from Parts and Logistics. Software is being continually upgraded to ABB’s latest offering for the MOD 300 allowing Multibus Console owners to coexist with ABB’s latest technology while maintaining their existing subsystems. A StepUp program is available as described in the Evolution section to upgrade to the latest MOD 300 Operator Interface if desired.
