PROFIBUS DP FieldBusPlugs PDP22/PDQ22

  • The two FieldbusPlugs PDP22 and PDQ22 are the link between the FBP devices (e.g. UMC22) and a PROFIBUS DP network.
  • PDP22 and PDQ22 are certified PROFIBUS participants, which means that they enable simple and proven device integration in any control systems or control units. Both GSD- and DTM-based systems are supported and both PROFIBUS protocols, DP-V0 and DP-V1, are implemented.
  • The PDP22 is available in various cable lengths
  • All parameter, service and diagnosis data on the attached units can be accessed in a transparent manner, allowing the FBP devices to be integrated in cross-system maintenance management systems.
  • The PDQ22 allows to connect up to four UMC22 to the PROFIBUS DP. This makes the PDQ22 a cost-effective solution for motor control centers.

  • The possibility to separate the FieldbusPlug from the device is a perfect solution for motor control centers. The PROFIBUS node stays alive during drawer exchange.
  • Status LEDs provide information about the bus status and devices attached.
