Combined Current and Voltage Transformers

Combined current and voltage transformers are used to transform high currents or voltages to values that can be unified or measured safely with low internal losses.

Above a service voltage of 110 kV, instrument transformers are frequently manufactured as combined current and voltage transformers.

Our Offerings

  • Oil-insulated Current/Voltage transformer JUK Oil-insulated Current/Voltage transformer JUK

The combined instrument transformers consists of a current and voltage module enclosed in a common aluminium, hermetic casing filled with transformer oil.

  • Optical Metering Unit OMU Optical Metering Unit OMU

The OMU is a completely passive optical measurement unit. It was developed to provide combined optical current and voltage measurement which can be interfaced to electronic meters and/or relays in high voltage substations.
