GAS ANALYSIS
Precise continuous gas measurement for process control and compliance
PROCESS CONTROL AND COMPLIANCE
ABB's continuous gas analyzers deliver real-time measurement of up to twelve gas components, including CO, CO₂, O₂, CH₄, SO₂, HCl, and NH₃, across the most demanding industrial environments. Whether measuring combustion efficiency in power plants, monitoring emissions in waste incinerators, or controlling hydrogen production in steam methane reformers, our analyzers provide the direct read, instantaneous response needed for immediate process optimization and regulatory compliance.
All analyzers are developed, tested, manufactured, and calibrated in-house using our dedicated gas analysis laboratory, ensuring precision and reliability when it matters most.
OUR GAS ANALYSIS PORTFOLIO
Hot/Wet Gas Analysis
- Hot/Wet Gas Analysis
- Cold/Dry Gas Analysis
HOT/WET GAS ANALYSIS
Hot/wet gas analyzers are designed for direct, in-situ measurement of gas streams at elevated temperatures, typically at the point of generation or in exhaust systems. These analyzers operate without requiring extensive sample conditioning, delivering rapid response for real-time combustion control and emission monitoring.
KEY BENEFITS
Analyze directly at the source, without sample conditioning

Hot/wet extractive analyzers measure gas at operating temperature, eliminating sample conditioning systems. Result: faster response, lower complexity, better combustion control data
One scalable platform for CEMS, process & maritime

MCA 10 family offers CEMS, process, and maritime variants on a common platform. Consistent performance and shared spare parts reduce inventory and training costs
Ready out of the box, built for long-term reliability

MCA 10 CEMS ships pre-calibrated with touchscreen and remote access. Extended service intervals and proven stability lower lifecycle costs and maximize uptime
Measure more with less

ACF5000 and MCA 10 measure O₂, CO, CO₂, and CH₄ simultaneously. One platform replaces multiple instruments, reducing footprint and operational complexity
PRODUCT RANGE
Products include the ACF5000, iFiD, and MCA 10 series, offering measurement of oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and methane in demanding high-temperature conditions.
Typical Applications:
- Power plant combustion optimization
- Waste incinerator emission monitoring
- Direct process gas measurement in high-temperature environments
- Emergency response gas detection in hazardous areas
COLD/DRY GAS ANALYSIS
Cold/dry gas analyzers measure sample gas that has been conditioned to ambient temperature and humidity. This approach enables use of advanced measurement technologies and multiple analyzer modules in a single, modular system. Cold/dry solutions are ideal when flexibility, multi-component analysis, and customizable measurement modules are priorities.
KEY BENEFITS
Modular architecture for multi-component analysis

Advance Optima AO2000 supports up to four analyzer modules measuring six gas components simultaneously. Choose from freely combinable modules (NDIR/UV, oxygen, TCD, FID, and in-situ laser) to build your ideal solution
Advanced performance without complexity, at the right cost

EasyLine EL3000 delivers proven analyzer technology in a compact, affordable platform. Automatic calibration eliminates expensive test gas cylinders, reducing operational costs significantly
Certified for hazardous areas, designed for simplicity

EL3060 is certified for Zone 1 environments (ATEX, IECEx, NEPSI, TIIS, KC) with flameproof enclosure and touchscreen operation. Shared modules ensure proven Advance Optima reliability
Future-proof connectivity and integration

ABB analyzers support Ethernet TCP/IP, OPC, PROFIBUS, and Modbus for seamless DCS/SCADA integration. Built-in remote monitoring and QAL3 compliance (EN 14181) included
OUR OFFERING
