<p>Ekip UP+ is available in two versions — Monitor and Protect — that share the same hardware platform. Both can be equipped with optional software packages and accessories ordered via traditional channels or directly upgraded through the ABB Marketplace, giving maximum flexibility at every stage of the project.</p>
Ekip UP+ Monitor
Ekip UP+ Monitor is the multi-purpose metering unit for low-voltage plants, combining energy measurement, power quality analysis, fault diagnostics, and full cloud connectivity in a single device. It performs current, voltage, power, and energy measurements — with accuracy class 0.2 for current and energy — and integrates an embedded network analyzer compliant with IEC 61000-4-30 Ed. 2, covering harmonics up to the 50th order. A dual-buffer datalogger supports fault analysis based on triggered events. Up to 3,000 data points can be shared with supervision systems through up to four plug-and-play cartridge modules, supporting nine communication protocols including Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, IEC 61850, Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP™, and DeviceNet™. An optional gateway module enables direct connection to ABB Digital Platform. The Monitor version can be upgraded to the Protect version at any time via the ABB Marketplace.

Ekip UP+ Protect
Ekip UP+ Protect includes all Monitor’s functions and adds a comprehensive set of built-in protection capabilities for low-voltage power feeders and generation systems. It enables protection based on current, voltage, frequency, and power, acting as a digital relay for switch disconnectors and circuit breakers. Up to 35 ANSI protections are built in for power distribution. Additional software packages — available via traditional ordering or the ABB Marketplace — extend the unit's capability with generator protections, motor protections, adaptive protections, Interface Protection System (CEI 0-16), adaptive load shedding, and power controller functions. Ekip UP+ Protect is compliant with IEC 60255 and UL 37.90, and carries CE and cULus listings. It is approved by marine registers RINA and DNV-GL.
