From transformer links in power substations to grounding and bonding in cable tray systems, Boreal braids absorb vibration, accommodate thermal expansion, and maintain reliable electrical contact across their full rated ampacity. Every assembly is built with 99.9% pure copper ferrules, electro-tin plated prior to forming, and ampacity can be certified using CEI60694 standards through ABB's in-house heat cycle laboratory. For applications requiring something beyond the standard catalogue, custom lengths, hole patterns, plating options, and insulation configurations are available upon request.
