The Marrette 833 is a professional-grade, yellow-coded twist-on wire connector built for high-volume residential and commercial wiring. Its ergonomic wing design delivers greater grip torque than conventional barrel connectors, and the exclusive Live Action® variable volume spring accommodates a wide range of wire combinations — from #22 to #8 AWG, solid or stranded — when conductors are inserted straight and the connector is turned clockwise as directed. The deep, wide throat ensures full insulation coverage, and the Posi-Grip surface maintains twisting control even when hands are greasy or damp. The wing shape is also compatible with a standard 1/2 in. or 13 mm hex driver for added installation flexibility. Made of durable polypropylene rated to 105°C (221°F). Approved for circuits up to 600 V and lighting fixtures and signs up to 1,000 V. For copper conductors only.
