Aluminum wiring demands connectors engineered specifically for its unique material properties, and the Marrette ACS was developed precisely for that purpose. Featuring a special bronze alloy spring with a thick tin-plating, the ACS meets the rigorous standards required for aluminum conductor connections. Its round spring design ensures that aluminum conductors and highly stranded copper wires are not scored or severed during installation. The sturdy thermoplastic valox resin cap is rated to 125°C (257°F), with a threaded entry and deep, wide throat for clean, insulated conductor entry. Approved for aluminum-to-aluminum, copper-to-copper, and aluminum-to-copper (including highly stranded copper) connections. Approved for circuits up to 600 V and lighting fixtures and signs up to 1,000 V. Not UL listed. For use in Canada; always verify compliance with the applicable local authority having jurisdiction.
