MARRETTE® PORCELAIN FOR EXTREME TEMPERATURE WIRE CONNECTORS
When the environment exceeds what any other connector can withstand, Marrette Porcelain is rated and built for the extreme.
WHEN NO OTHER CONNECTOR QUALIFIES
For electrical connections in furnaces, industrial ovens, kilns, and similarly extreme heat environments, the Marrette Porcelain connector stands alone. Rated to 645°C (1,200°F), this springless connector is the only member of the Marrette family constructed entirely of hardened porcelain. The inner surface of the cap is threaded to grip stranded copper conductors with a secure, compression-type connection. No spring required. Closely spaced external grooves provide firm twisting control, and a funneled entry simplifies wire insertion. Approved for circuits up to 300 V only. For stranded copper conductors only. Always confirm the connector model and installation requirements are appropriate for the specific equipment and jurisdiction prior to installation.
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Some environments push beyond what any conventional wire connector can handle. The Marrette Porcelain connector is rated to 645°C and built entirely from hardened porcelain, making it the only practical twist-on connection solution for furnaces, industrial ovens, kilns, and other extreme heat applications.

645°C (1,200°F) Temperature rating

All-porcelain cap maintains dimensional and electrical integrity at temperatures that would immediately destroy thermoplastic or spring-based connectors.
Springless threaded interior

The threaded inner cap surface grips stranded copper conductors through compression, delivering a secure connection without any spring component.
Closely spaced external grooves

External grooves provide firm twisting power even in the awkward positions typical of furnace and oven equipment maintenance.
Funneled entry

Guides stranded copper wire into the threaded compression compartment for clean, controlled insertion in high-temperature equipment enclosures.
300 V Circuit rating

Approved for circuits up to 300 V only. This limitation must be respected when specifying for any application. It is not rated for 600 V service.
INDUSTRIES WE SUPPORT
