The Marrette Set-Screw Vibration Proof connector is a two-piece, pressure-type connector combining a solid brass insert with a locking thermoplastic polymer insulating cap rated to 150°C (302°F). When the set-screw is tightened into the brass barrel, it creates a stable pressure connection on approved wire combinations (#18 to #10 AWG) that resists loosening under vibration, suited for motor changes, circuit additions, instrument testing, and temporary wiring. The insulating cap locks securely to the brass insert to guard against accidental loosening in high-vibration environments. Conductors can be removed and reinstalled by loosening the set-screw , no re-stripping required. Available with slotted or Robertson screwdriver installation. Approved for circuits up to 600 V and lighting fixtures and signs up to 1,000 V. For copper conductors only.
