MARRETTE® TYPE II WIRE CONNECTORS
Maximum torque, maximum control. The Type II Long-Wing connector is built for the larger wire sizes and bundle counts that standard connectors are not designed to handle.
MAXIMUM TORQUE FOR HEAVY WIRE
The Marrette Type II winged wire connector is engineered for electrical professionals working with large wire bundles and demanding connection applications. The Long-Wing design features long, offset wings with raised edges that provide a full-length gripping surface, with the ability to apply torque selectively at either the top of the connector for confined spaces, or the bottom, for large conductor bundles. The ribbed body surface adds grip even when hands are wet or greasy, and the threaded entry guides large wire bundles into the spring chamber. Backed by the Live Action variable volume spring with square wire construction for a positive conductor bite on solid or stranded conductors, the Type II accommodates wire combinations from #12 to #6 AWG. Compatible with the TOOL-WING hex driver. Thermoplastic cap rated to 105°C (221°F). Approved for circuits up to 600 V and lighting fixtures and signs up to 1,000 V. For copper conductors only.
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS

When wire sizes are large and bundle counts are high, a standard twist-on connector is not always up to the task. The Marrette Type II Long-Wing connector delivers the torque leverage required to make reliable connections on conductors up to #6 AWG, with selective grip options for both confined and open installation positions.

Long-wing™ torque design

Extended offset wings with raised edges provide a full-length grip surface and allow selective torque application at the top (confined spaces) or bottom (large bundles) of the connector.
Live action® variable volume spring

Square wire spring construction delivers a positive conductor bite on solid or stranded copper conductors across the approved wire combination range.
Copper-coated spring

Corrosion-resistant spring coating supports long-term connection reliability.
Ribbed body surface

Additional grip texture on the connector body maintains control in wet or greasy installation conditions.
Threaded entry

Guides large wire bundles into the spring chamber, reducing insertion effort for #12 to #6 AWG conductor applications.
INDUSTRIES WE SUPPORT
