OVR T1-T2

OVR type 1 and type 1+2 are designed to discharge high current surges without any destruction of the installation. This surge protective device is chararcterized by its capacity to withstand impulse current with 10/350 µs wave form which simulate direct impact coming from a natural lightning current.

OVR T2

OVR T2 varistor-based surge protective devices limit dangerous transient overvoltages to a level that is compatible with the equipment.

OVR T2-T3

Type 3 surge protective devices from ABB are combination protective devices that are Type 2 and Type 3 tested. Due to their low protection level, OVR T2+3 is the ideal protective device for particularly sensitive equipment.
