THE FITTING THAT STARTED IT ALL
Introduced in 1988 as a natural extension of the original 10464 Series, the Star Teck ST Series set the standard for Teck and ACWU cable termination that the entire industry has followed ever since. The ST Series was the first Teck cable fitting to use a pop-on design requiring no disassembly, dramatically simplifying installation in the field. A built-in O-Ring provides a 360-degree seal even when the enclosure surface is rough or uneven, and sharp biting teeth deliver superior electrical bonding while allowing corrosive liquids to drain away from the connection point. The watertight tapered bushing is cone-shaped to provide a secure, tight fit while eliminating cupping or water accumulation in vertical installations. The low-profile gland nut features grooves for screwdriver installation and flats for wrench-gripping, and a funnel entry simplifies cable insertion in tight spaces. Available in aluminum, steel, and PVC-coated versions to suit a wide range of industrial environments. Designed and manufactured in Canada.
