ABB's Harnessflex EVO conduits and connector backshells are purpose-engineered for the elevated protection demands of electric and hybrid vehicles, where critical high voltage wiring is exposed to extreme temperatures, corrosive fluids, vibration and impact. Available in the distinctive Electric Vehicle Orange coloring for instant identification of high voltage circuits, the flexible nylon conduit and hinged high voltage backshells function together as a complete integrated cable protection system for use in electric cars, buses, trucks, trams and trains. Compatible with Amphenol Powerlok and TE HVA280-3 high voltage connectors, EVO backshells provide robust mechanical protection, enhanced strain relief and a high integrity connection right up to the connector. Harnessflex EVO systems help protect wiring harnesses across a full range of electric vehicle applications, including electric ancillaries, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, high voltage battery packs, hybrid systems and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

<p>EVO conduit features very high abrasion, impact and shock resistance, supporting long-lasting cable protection in demanding vehicle harness applications.</p>

Protective

<p>Flexible nylon (PA6) conduit and hinged EVO backshells provide complete cable protection against mechanical abrasion, excessive strain, corrosive salts and liquid ingress right up to the connector.</p>

Temperature extremes

<p>EVO conduit operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C long term and up to +175°C short term, with UV and heat stabilization included as standard.</p>

Chemical resistance

<p>Resistant to automotive oils, solvents, corrosive salts and common automotive fluids including diesel oil, ethylene glycol, lubricating oil and petrol.</p>

UV resistance

<p>UV stabilization as standard helps maintain conduit integrity in high-heat and outdoor vehicle environments, reducing degradation over the vehicle's lifespan.</p>

Flexible

<p>Available in straight and 90° elbow backshell configurations with 360° rotation for ease of cable routing in space-limited vehicle installations.</p>

Easy installation

<p>Hinged one-piece backshell design closes smoothly around cables and captures fittings, helping reduce assembly time and allow quick, tool-free installation.</p>
