ABB's Harnessflex X-Temp conduits are engineered to meet the growing demands of modern engine design. As global emissions standards such as Euro 6, USA10 and Tier 4 for off-highway heavy duty vehicles continue to push engine temperatures higher, turbocharging and EGR systems create heat zones that standard conduit solutions cannot reliably handle. The X-Temp HTC conduit range is manufactured from modified co-polyester materials offering sustained performance from -50°C to +190°C long-term static, with short-term capability up to +200°C. Produced from low smoke and halogen-free materials, HTC conduits undergo intensive long-term heat aging as well as tensile and impact strength testing, helping to ensure consistent wiring protection throughout a vehicle's lifespan.
