ABB offers Harnessflex X-Temp Fittings as the purpose-designed fitting solution for wiring harnesses that operate in the most thermally demanding areas of heavy automotive engines. As modern powertrain design has evolved to meet tightening global emissions standards, including Euro 6 and Tier 4 regulations, engine compartment temperatures have risen significantly, creating a need for a fitting range that can withstand sustained exposure at extreme heat. The X-Temp fitting range is manufactured from high temperature polyamide material and covers a broad portfolio of joiner, elbow, Y-piece, T-piece, X-piece and connector interface styles, each available in multiple conduit sizes and designed to snap together without tools for quick and reliable assembly. For use across heavy goods vehicles, off-road machinery, agricultural equipment, construction plant and more, these fittings are produced at ABB's Coleshill, UK facility and are compatible with all conduits in the Harnessflex range, making them a natural choice for complete, integrated system performance.
