ABB's Elastimold three-phase reclosers automatically sense and interrupt fault currents to minimize service outages, reduce the number of customers affected and restore service faster across 15kV to 38kV overhead distribution lines. Weighing about 211 lbs. with solid-dielectric insulation and vacuum interruption, these smart grid ready reclosers help eliminate the need to dispatch crews for reconfiguration after momentary outages. Modular design enables fast field upgrades and retrofits and provides compatibility with SEL and Beckwith controls.
