ABB’s integrated modular solutions are designed to connect and protect an evolving grid. ABB’s integrated modular solutions are custom designed, tested and prefabricated in our ABB’s factories, reducing onsite work. Our integrated modular solutions are designed to house medium voltage and low voltage switchgear.

For primary integrated modular solutions, ABB offers two solutions: eHouses and Skid modules. The best solution for our customers’ needs will depend on the application and some aspects such as the need for environmental control solutions (HVAC, fire alarm and security systems), which only our ABB e-House solution is offering. 

EHOUSE MODULES

eHouse modules, available for ratings up to 40.5 kV, are an enclosed, custom designed, tested and prefabricated electrical room with environmental control solutions such as HVAC, fire alarm and security systems. ABB’s eHouse modules for primary applications are designed to house medium voltage and low voltage switchgear, critical power equipment and automation cabinets for control of industrial plant equipment.

SKID MODULES

Skid modules, available for ratings up to 40.5 kV, are an open frame mounted, compact primary solution that is customed engineered for a specific site. ABB’s skid modules for primary applications are designed to house medium and low voltage equipment installed and interconnected in the factory enabling an efficient construction schedule (pre-installed and pre-tested system).
