ABB’s integrated secondary solutions are designed to connect and protect an evolving grid. ABB’s integrated secondary solutions are a type and arc tested comprising an enclosure containing medium voltage (MV) switchgear, distribution transformers, low voltage (LV) switchboards, connections and auxiliary equipment to supply low voltage energy from medium voltage systems and vice versa.

 

For secondary integrated secondary solutions, ABB offers three solutions: UniPackEcoFlex and Secondary Skid Units (SSU). The best solution for our customers’ needs will depend on the application and some aspects such as where the integrated secondary solutions will be placed and the needed transformer ratings.

UNIPACK-S & UNIPACK-G

UniPack, available for ratings up to 40.5 kV and 25 kA, is compact type tested, and arc tested solution for secondary substations. It comprises an enclosure containing medium voltage (MV) switchgear, distribution transformers up to 3,500 kVA, low voltage (LV) switchboards, connections and auxiliary equipment to supply low voltage energy from medium voltage systems or vice versa.

ECOFLEX

EcoFlex, available for ratings up to 40.5 kV and 25 kA, is a type tested, and arc tested modular and space efficient solution for secondary substations.

Secondary Skid Unit (SSU), available for ratings up to 40.5 kV and 25 kA, is a prefabricated and arc proof solution for secondary substations.
