UniGear is the main product line of ABB’s air-insulated (AIS) indoor switchgear for primary distribution. With more than 25 years in the market, UniGear distributes medium voltage electric power safely and reliably in a variety of high demanding applications such as utility substations, mining, power plants or chemical plants. The UniGear family is fully compliant with most of the international standards.

UniGear ZS1

UniGear ZS1, up to 24 kV, is a medium voltage air-insulated switchgear with withdrawable circuit-breaker for primary distribution suitable for indoor installations.
UniGear ZS1 is built as a single busbar, double busbar or duplex and even double level solution. It is also certified for use in special and harsh applications such as marine and seismic. UniGear ZS1 comes in 500mm, 650mm, 800mm and 1000 mm widths – fully compatible with other UniGear panels. It is fully compliant with the IEC, CSA, GOST, GB/DL standards.

UniGear ZS2

UniGear ZS2, up to 36 kV, is a medium voltage air-insulated switchgear for primary distribution suita-ble for indoor installations. UniGear ZS2 is built as a single busbar or back-to-back in double busbar arrangement. In the double busbar configuration, all significant components are identical to those used for the single busbar units, so the same service and maintenance procedures are guaranteed. It is fully compliant with the IEC standards.
UniGear ZS2 up to 36 kV is available with a wide range of monitoring solutions.

UniGear ZS3.2

UniGear ZS3.2, up to 36 kV (46kV upon request), is a medium voltage air-insulated switchgear for primary distribution suitable for indoor installations. UniGear ZS3.2 is a metal-enclosed switchgear built as a single busbar suitable for the 50/60 Hz three phases power systems. It is fully compliant with the IEC and GB/DL standards and GOST standards. UniGear ZS3.2 is produced in widths 1200 and 1400 mm can be fitted with vacuum circuit breakers.

UniGear MCC

UniGear Motor Control Center, up to 12 kV, is an air-insulated medium-voltage motor control center (MCC) designed specifically for motor, transformer and capacitor bank switching. UniGear MCC has been designed in width 400 mm, compatible with other panel types from UniGear family. MCC contac-tor is suitable for 1,000,000 of mechanical operations.

LeanGear ZS9

LeanGear ZS9, up to 12 kV, is a medium voltage air-insulated (AIS) switchgear for primary distribution suitable for indoor installations. LeanGear ZS9 is built as a single busbar solution for mid to low applications in infrastructure, light industry, buildings, data center, food and beverage and utilities. It is fully compliant with the IEC and GB/DL standards.

Tailored to meet the demands of municipal and private utilities, industrial facilities, and building infrastructure, the ZS8.4 delivers an ideal solution through its comprehensive safety concept.
