Moulded case circuit breaker series launched in 1993, was available in different versions and is now obsolete

SACE Isomax S series ranged from S1 to S8 with rated uninterrupted currents Iu from 125 to 3200A with ultimate rated breaking capacity Icu from 10 to 200kA (380-415V). These devices were developed for AC and DC distribution and were available in fixed, plug-in and withdrawable version. SACE Isomax S series included current-limiting circuit breakers, residual current circuit breakers, switch disconnectors, circuit breakers for motor protection and for applications with voltages up to 1000V as well as a specific range which complies with the North American UL489 and CSA C22.2 standards. SACE Isomax S4, S5, S6, S7, S8 could be equipped with microprocessor based releases PR211/P, PR212/P and PR212/MP with functions suitable also for motor protection. SACE Isomax S1, S2, S3, S5, S6 could be equipped with thermomagnetic releases or only with magnetic release for instantaneous protection.
