Breakers & Switches

 

I MCCBs 

• The Tmax T5-T6-T7 circuit breakers standard version (up to 690VAC – 750VDC), including IEC and UL versions and all accessories, will be available only for the completion of ongoing projects.  

• Availability will be restricted to selected countries, and the country of origin cannot be guaranteed during this period. 

• The series will be discontinued by the end of 2026 (last time buy no later than September with delivery within December) 

 

II ACBs 

• New Emax DC, today in classic phase, will become limited starting from 1st January 2027 

 

III Enclosures 

• ArTu PB will be officially discontinued for all the countries starting from 2026. 

 

IV External Digital Units 

• No variation 

V Switches & Fusegear 

• OT Plus Switch disconnectors - OT16-63G1 released in November 2025

• OT16…125F -series will be Classic in Q2/2026. Last Time Buy in November 2026 and Obsolete in Q1/2027.

• OTHV UL switches 200A-800A to be released latest by H2/2025.  

• Enclosed OT Plus 63A – 125A released Feb. 2025 

• Enclosed OT Plus 16A – 40A to be released Jan. 2026 

• OT plus change-overs 63-125A (G2/G3) released in December 2024. 

• OT plus change-overs 16-63A (G1) shall be released in September 2025. 

• Fastline Adapters from 160 to 1100A for MCCB Tmax (T2-T7) will be moved to Classic January 2025 and Obsolete in July 2025. There will be no replacement for these products. 

• ODPSE230C (1SCA116892R1001) Dual Power Supply shall be Obsolete in July 2025. The replacement product shall be ODPS230 (1SCA122946R1001) 

• OMD300E480C-A1 (1SCA123790R1001) is now Classic and shall be set Obsolete in January 2027. Last Buy will be possible until October 2026.

• OMD800E480C-A1 (1SCA123791R1001) is now Classic and shall be set Obsolete in October 2026. Last Buy will be possible until June 2026.

• ATS021 (1SDA065523R1) shall be Obsolete in January 2027, Last Buy will be possible until October 2026.

• ATS022 (1SDA065524R1) shall be Obsolete in October 2026, Last Buy will be possible until June 2026. 

• Replacement product for OMD_XX and ATS_XX series shall be TruCONTROL2.0 to be released in Q1 2026. 

• Zenith T-series Service Entrance ATS 800-1200A to be released Q1 2025 

• Zenith T-series ZBTS (Bypass-Isolation ATS) change to Classic in Q1 2025, Limited in Q2 2025, with last time buy April 18, 2025 

• The OTDC XS and OTDC P ranges will be streamlined, and some items will be discontinued. Higher‑current models will remain to ensure full coverage of the portfolio. For more details, please refer to ABBp. 

Digital Solutions

• ABB Ability Energy and Asset Manager are in Maintenance since 1st of June 2025 till 1st of June 2026, when it will become Obsolete. This applies to all countries but in China, where the offer remains Active.

• ABB Ability Energy Manager will be replaced by Sensorfact. 

• Sensofact RedLink offer will be Active and Saleable starting in January 2026.

• ASKI Mini and ASKI Profi Controller will change from Active to Classic mid-2026, at the same time ALS Visual will change from Active to Maintenance. Replacements will be launched starting mid 2026 – new Controller and enhanced ASKI Webserver and ASKI Portal.

• Service Assist and its Smart Arc Flash Assessor (SAFER) feature extension mobile applications will move to Obsolete on April 1st, 2026

Motor Starting and Safety

 

I Electronic Relays and Controls

• All CP-T products will change to Limited from January 2026 and become Obsolete 01.07. 2026 as already announced before. Last time buy is updated to 31.03.2026.

• Selected products from our HF starter portfolio change to Classic phase from January 2026 and to Limited from July 2026 and become Obsolete 31.12.2026. Last time buy is end of March 2026.

 

II Safety Products

• New cables for HD5-S-102, HD5-S-104 and HD5-S-111 are ACTIVE from Q4 2025.

• URAX will change to Limited phase from July 2026 and become Obsolete January 2027. 

• Pluto B42 AS-i, Pluto AS-i v2, AS-i cables and AS-I accessories will change to Limited phase from January 2027 and become Obsolete July 2027. 

• Cables sold in meter will change to Limited phase from January 2027 and become Obsolete July 2027. 

• Pluto A20, O2, D20, B22 will change to Limited from January 2028 and Obsolete become July 2028. 

• Adam DYN-Reset M12-5, Adam OSSD-Reset M12-5 and Adam OSSD-Reset M12-8 will change to Limited phase from January 2028 and become Obsolete July 2028. 

• Pluto D45HE will change to Limited phase from January 2028 and become Obsolete July 2028.

 

III Pilot Devices

• Engraved products related to the old L-mark tool become Obsolete from Jan 2026.

• MEP, MEPY, MEX Enclosures and assembled stations will change to Limited from Jul 2027, change to Obsolete from Jan 2028.

 

IV Contactors

 

• A range GA75, GAE75 contactors is limited from January 2027 and Obsolete from July 2027. Last time buy is 30th of September 2026.
• Spare parts for A-range Large contactors (A(F)185…A(F)300) is Obsolete from January 2026
• Connection kits for Large contactors and T4, T5 and T6 breakers is Classic from January 2026

 

V Mini contactors 

• No variation

 

VI Limit Switches

• No variation

 

VII Manual Motor Starters

• MS165-RTB and accessories (HK1-..RT, SK1-..RT,UA1-..RT, AA1-..RT, TS2-M3-S1) will be added to the portfolio in Q1 2026.

 

VIII Installation Contactors

• No variation

 

IX Softstarters

• All PST(B) and PSS spare parts (called pt.2) are Obsolete from Jan 2026.

• New Hydraulic Elevator Softstarters added to the portfolio in Q1 2026.

 

X NEMA Controls

• ProS Enclosed Starters with UL508A listing have been added to the portfolio.

• New Size 5 and 6 Non-Combination and Combination Starters will be added to the portfolio in the second half of 2026.

NEMA Enclosed products

ADS Fusible Products

 

• ADS Fusible Power panels are to be phased out of production during 2026, with final orders due by October 1st, 2025.  Fusible switchboards remain available to fill the application space.

• ADS Fusible Switchboards are to be phased out of production during 2026 and are to be replaced by a new fusible switchboard based on the OT/OS switch.

• ADS Fusible Switches as components are to be phased out of production during 2026 and are to be replaced by a group mounted OT/OS switch.  

Safety and Enclosed Rotary Switches

 

• 800/1200A Spec Setter General and Heavy Duty, including all Enclosure Ratings are being phased out during 1H 2026 and will be completely replaced by a new, more capable design.  

Lighting Panelboards and Lighting Panel MCCB’s

 

• Reliagear RQ Lighting Panels are planned for phase-out during 1H 2027.  The application space will be completely replaced by the new, similarly designed, RQ Plus Lighting Panelboard, planned to launch 2H 2026.  

• Reliagear RE and RS Lighting Panels are planned for phase-out during 1H 2028.  The application space will be completely replaced by the newly designed Reliagear RX Lighting Panelboard, planned to launch 2H 2027.

• To support the Lighting Panelboard transitions above, type TEY (including F,D,H,L variants) are planned for transition to Classic and Limited phase during 2028 and obsolescence for 2029.  The application space for these MCCB’s will be filled by the new TMAX XB Bolt-On Circuit Breaker, planned to launch 1H 2027.

• HBRF Solutions for OEZ AR/ARB based on Emax2 have been added as Active product

• HBRF Solutions for Apena APU based on Emax2 have been added as Active product

• CIC solution for Otomax SACE based on new Emax changed to classic phase on Jan.2026 

• RF Siemens 3WN1-3WN6 based on new Emax changed to Classic phase in January 2026 

• RF H&W based on new Emax changed to Classic phase in January 2026

• RF Terasaki AT based on new Emax changed to Classic phase in January 2026

• Isomax 1000V series with PR212LSI and PR211L protection relays changed to Obsolete in January 2026
