AEG ME00 – ME05 – ME07

Air circuit breaker series originally launched by AEG as ME00 and evolved in ME05 and ME07 when acquired by GE is now obsolete.

THIS INCLUDES

SACE New Emax series of air circuit breakers consists of six frames: X1, E1, E2, E3, E4, E6 covering uninterrupted rated current Iu up to 6300A.
SACE New Emax circuit breakers ensured maximum safety in many different ways, such as racking-out with the door closed, degree of protection towards the outside up to IP54, various different safety locks and double insulation.
SACE New Emax had protection trip units fitted with advanced electronic offering bespoke solutions for control and protection and important innovations, such as the brand new intuitive operator interface allowing a complete control of the system with just a few simply keystrokes.
Furthermore, there were innovative protections, alarms and connections to handheld and laptop PCs using bluetooth technology.

Accessories

SACE Emax circuit-breakers can be fitted with electrical and mechanical accessories ranging from the more typical ones to the most technologically advanced equipment.

YO and YC

Shunt opening/closing releases

Allows apparatus to be opened or closed by remote control. Given the characteristics of the circuit-breaker operating mechanism, opening (with the circuit-breaker closed) is always possible, whereas closing can only be achieved when the closing springs are loaded. The release operates with both direct and alternate current.

M

Geared motor for automatic charging of the closing springs

Automatically loads the closing springs of the circuit-breaker's operating mechanism. Once the circuit-breaker has closed, the gearmotor immediately begins to reload the closing springs.

AUX

Auxiliary contacts

Auxiliary contacts installed on the circuit-breaker are available so as to signal the different states.
There is also a special version of the auxiliary contacts for use at less than 24V rated voltage (digital signals).

Locks

Mechanical locks

Different mechanisms are available allowing the circuit-breaker to be locked in the open position or in the racked-in/test isolated/racked-out position by means of keys or padlocks.

MI-C

Mechanical interlock

This mechanism achieves a mechanical interlock between two or three circuit-breakers (even of different sizes and in any fixed/withdrawable version) by means of a flexible cable.
The circuit-breakers can be installed either vertically or horizontally, between two or three circuit-breakers, respectively.
