Industrial customers asked for motors that will save energy and cut emissions, and are very simple to install. ABB worked closely with OEMs and end users to develop the LV Titanium, a Variable Speed Motor that will set new standards for performance in food and beverage, water treatment, chemical processing, and many other sectors.

 

Compact size and plug-and-play functionality make the LV Titanium very easy to install, with no commissioning needed.

 

IE5 ultra-premium efficiency reduces energy consumption, while robust, cast-iron frames ensure high reliability, uninterrupted operation and minimized downtime.

 

The LV Titanium offers a range of connections, and is easy to integrate with PLCs and other control devices. For customers sourcing higher volumes, ABB offers customization services to tailor the motors for a perfect match with the application.

Modbus RTU, Ethernet, and a number of digital and analog I/Os make the LV Titanium easy to integrate with other plant equipment.

Streamlined design

The LV Titanium’s drive module has been purpose-designed to match the motor, producing a sleek unit that complements any equipment or plant environment.

User-friendly control

Flexible control features start with the integrated control panel mounted on top for fast access. An external control panel can be connected via the RJ45 port.

Enhanced safety

The integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function meets leading standards. STO is typically used to prevent unexpected startup or implement emergency stops.
