ABB Baldor-Reliance® direct drive motors are synchronous permanent-magnet motors featuring a laminated, finned-frame design that delivers a highly efficient, power-dense solution. With flange mounting dimensions designed to replace right-angle gearboxes and jackshaft installations, they simplify many conventional cooling-tower drivetrains.
This same technology is also available in compact, foot-mounted configurations that can replace belt-and-sheave systems where additional vertical space is available.
