How motor upgrades can improve pump system efficiency

An industrial facility can reduce electricity costs associated with its pumping systems by reducing the pumping system flow rate, lowering the operating pressure, operating the system for a shorter period each day and, perhaps most importantly, improving the system’s overall efficiency.

ABB Ability Smart Sensor Condition monitoring for motors

Changes in temperature and vibration can indicate potential problems in equipment. Yet monitoring low voltage motors is considered expensive and often overlooked, leaving problems unnoticed until the motor fails. ABB now makes it easier and safer to know how your motor feels.
