ABB Baldor-Reliance submersible motors provide reliable solutions for both wet and dry well applications in municipal and industrial wastewater systems. Designed for slurry pumps, aerators and mixers, these motors offer performance in challenging environments, with wet pit models capable of running 15 minutes in air and dry pit models for continuous operation in air or submerged.

Multiple sealing layers—including dual mechanical seals with an oil chamber, moisture probes and secure epoxy-filled cable entries—ensure reliable operation even when fully submerged.

Extended motor life

Designed for durability, with a cast iron frame and end shield, 316 stainless steel hardware, a 416 stainless steel shaft, epoxy-sealed cable entry and O-ring seals on all machined fits.

Inverter duty

Inverter rated insulation system, Class 1 Division 1 Group D, T2A. Meets NEMA MG1, Part 31.

Bearings

Inpro/seals at drive end and opposite drive end.

Energy efficient
