Compact Power, Instant Stopping

ABB's Baldor-Reliance Short Series Brake Motors are engineered for applications requiring rapid stopping and secure holding, such as conveyors, hoists, elevators, and packaging machinery. These motors are available in both footed and footless configurations, with options for totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) or totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosures.

Baldor-Reliance three phase motors are suitable for inverter use per NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2. Enhanced phase insulation protects the motor windings for reliable operation with VFD.

The motor is built tough (Class F), allows overload (1.15 SF), but runs cool (Class B limits), which extends its life and ensures reliable performance.
