The ABB Baldor-Reliance® RPM AC Extruder Duty motors are ideal for extruder applications because they deliver constant torque across a 1000:1 speed range, ensuring smooth, controlled operation even at very low speeds—critical for maintaining consistent material output.
Their low-inertia design enables fast response to load changes, while standard inverter-duty features like insulated bearings, grounding brush and resistance temperature detector (RTD) ensure reliable performance in demanding, continuous-duty environments.
