V*S Master Motors: Mastering Variable Speed

Baldor-Reliance® V*S Master Inverter Duty and Vector Duty motors are engineered specifically for inverter power. Featuring Baldor-Reliance’s advanced inverter-duty insulation system—exceeding NEMA MG1 Part 31 recommendations—these motors eliminate corona discharge, a leading cause of premature insulation failure. The result: longer motor life, reliable performance and confidence in demanding variable-speed applications.

Motors include pre-drilled and tapped shaft provisions for encoder mounting, with hollow-shaft encoder kits available from stock.

Inverter Duty

Advanced insulation system designed exclusively for operation on inverter drives—supports both open-loop and closed-loop control.

Drop-in design

Available in standard NEMA frames for both replacements and new installations. Perfect for constant-power applications such as winders, extruders and more.

Corona-free insulation
