SHOWCASING THE FUTURE OF LAB AUTOMATION AT SLAS 2026
Once again, lab automation at ABB Robotics is attending the SLAS International Conference and Exhibition which will take place from February 7th to 11th 2026 at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention & Exhibition Center (MCEC) in Boston.
As a global leader in robotics and automation, ABB Robotics will showcase its latest lab automation innovations in its own booth 2027 in Hall A, but as well, ABB Robotics is teaming up with other onsite booths to showcase lab automation cells around Halls A-B2.
Join us and learn about our lab automation cells placed in 7 SLAS booths along with a fun onsite gamification as we walk towards the future of lab automation.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT SLAS
The robotics partner of choice for lab automation
ABB robotics along with its partnerships with Mettler Toledo and Agilent Technologies, is opening the doors of the lab of the future by showcasing a range of automated lab workflows to help businesses focus on what really matters.
Collaborative lab automation cells
Expect to be amazed by the collaborative lab automation cells in 7 different booths at SLAS as ABB Robotics showcases various demonstrations focused on sample preparation, HPLC integration, general titration and Karl Fischer titration. ABB Robotics provides global lab cell solutions backed by local support helping R&D and QC laboratories embrace digital transformation resulting in less time spent on repetitive low-value added tasks, improving data quality and minimizing human error.
Onsite gamification challenge #SpotTheABBBot
Together with ABB Robotics leading industry partner Agilent Technologies, and along several other onsite booths such as B&R, Biosero, Xtalpi, Etech and Unitelabs, we challenge you to take photos of all ABB Robotics’s GoFa cobots at SLAS and share them on LinkedIn with #SpotTheABBBot! Come by booth 2027 to explain further the rules of the challenge. Will you be able to #SpotTheABBBot?
AI, Robotics and the Convergence toward the Lab of the Future
On Tuesday, February 10, from Noon to 1:15pm EST (Room 107A), ABB will host a roundtable entitled “From Insight to Impact: AI, Robotics and the Convergence toward the Lab of the Future.” The session will bring together experts from Atinary, Agilent, Mettler Toledo, Sanofi, and ABB Robotics to discuss how AI, robotics and interoperable platforms are reshaping laboratory operations.
What’s holding companies back from automating their laboratory operations?
Laboratories are under more pressure than ever to deliver faster results and higher accuracy and meet stricter regulations, but with fewer skilled people to do the work. Manual workflows are no longer enough. Our new white paper Mapping the journey to the automated laboratories of the future explores why automation has become a strategic necessity, not just a technical upgrade. It looks at what’s holding companies back from adopting it at scale in laboratory applications, and how these barriers can be overcome.
