RobotStudio HyperReality extends ABB's RobotStudio by integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to close the long‑standing sim‑to‑real gap in industrial robotics, making physical AI deployable at scale. It enables manufacturers to simulate robots in physically-accurate digital twins and generate synthetic data to virtually prepare robots for real‑world production scenarios before deployment.

Using AI‑based learning models, including Vision-Language-Action models, robots can be trained in simulation to replicate demonstrated tasks, whilst validating their behavior across multiple virtual variations, to reduce reliance on physical prototypes and on‑site testing.

 

Combined with ABB’s virtual controller, which runs the same firmware as real robots, RobotStudio HyperReality ensures near‑perfect correlation between simulation and reality, allowing manufacturers to commission faster, scale production more reliably, and accelerate time‑to‑market with industrial‑grade accuracy.
