What is the OmniCore User Interface?
The OmniCore User Interface is our unified robot programming and operator interface powered by the OmniCore robot controller platform. It provides a consistent user experience for robot operation, programming, monitoring and maintenance across robot and cobot platforms.
Because the same software experience runs on FlexPendant and customer-supplied devices connected through E-Device, operators and integrators can move between supported devices without learning different screens or workflows. This can reduce training effort, simplify commissioning and make multi-robot deployments easier to scale.

The E-Device is a hardware extension that enables safe manual robot operation and programming from a compatible customer-supplied Windows tablet or PC. Used with the OmniCore User Interface, it combines the benefits of flexible device choice with dedicated safety hardware connected to the robot controller.
Yes. For supported OmniCore-powered robots, a compatible Windows tablet or PC can run the OmniCore User Interface when connected through E-Device. E-Device supplies the dedicated safety functions required for manual robot interaction.
Both use the same OmniCore User Interface. FlexPendant is ourdedicated industrial teach pendant with integrated robot interaction controls, while E-Device lets customers use a compatible Windows tablet or PC together with dedicated safety hardware.
No. FlexPendant and E-Device are complementary options. E-Device has been designed as an addition to the existing FlexPendant, giving users an alternative interaction option for supported applications. The best choice depends on the working environment, device requirements, operating procedures and risk assessment..
Customers may use either option in a supported installation and switch between them according to the approved procedure and their personal preference. They cannot be connected to the same controller at the same time.
E-Device supports for all industrial robots and cobots powered by OmniCore controller.
E-Device is designed to address relevant safety requirements for manual robot operation, including emergency stop, a three-position enabling device, reset and external-control functions. Compliance of the completed robot application depends on correct integration, risk assessment, verification and validation.
