Increased engineering efficiency within machining applications
RobotStudio is the leading product for offline programming on the market. With its new programming methods, ABB is setting the standard for robot programming worldwide.
The Machining PowerPac is the ideal tool for programming of applications such as machining, deburring, grinding, polishing and deflashing. It can also be used with other CAD/CAM-based applications. It provides several strategies to easily generate machining paths and curves on free surfaces to run the machining program, satisfying different path generation requirements. The integrated postprocessor generates accurate robot paths from the CAM software and utilizes the strength of being closely integrated into the robot controller.
Key benefits
Fast and flexible path generation
Users can create complex machining paths in seconds, with support for various strategies and CAD/CAM integrations. The step-by-step interface and preview simulation make it easy to configure, adjust, and validate paths quickly and accurately.Seamless integration
Seamless integration with RobotWare and RobotStudio. The Machining PowerPac is fully integrated into RobotStudio. All the existing tools and features of the software are available for use. The complete robot program can be downloaded to a robot controller.Optimized performance and accuracy
Path and target optimization tools ensure collision-free, efficient motion, improving TCP speed, reachability, and orientation. Users can fine-tune machining parameters - like contact points and angles - for better cycle times and high-quality results.Technical data
