Elmek product offering helped ABB to expand its portfolio and facilitated continued growth in the transformer components business.
Since 1985 ELMEK has been manufacturing all types of accessories and bushings for distribution and small power transformers. In 2009 ELMEK became a member of the ABB Group, at that time the company served the market in more than 65 countries. Elmek portfolio included porcelain and epoxy bushings, de-energized tap-changers, measurement and safety devices and mechanical components and valves.
