BUILD TRUST AND ENCOURAGE A SPEAK UP CULTURE
ABB is committed to a culture of openness and transparency where employees and stakeholders engage in direct discussions and feel safe to speak up. We have zero tolerance for retaliation against Speak Up reporting and are committed to reviewing and addressing reported violations.
OPEN DIALOGUE
In your daily work, you are empowered to ask questions, engage in direct discussions and share your thoughts and concerns, even when the topics are uncomfortable. If direct engagement does not resolve a situation, you should seek advice or support from your line manager or HR Business Partner (HRBP). Most workplace disagreements and conflicts do not involve Code, policy, or legal violations, and are best addressed through open dialogue.
SPEAK UP
Report violations of the Code, ABB policies, or the law through the ABB Speak Up Helpline or another reporting channel. Reports are assessed confidentially and independently to ensure that they are handled properly. If you honestly report a concern or violation, or participate truthfully in an investigation, you will be protected against retaliation.
ABB REPORTING CHANNELS
ABB has several channels for reporting violations of the Code, ABB policies, or the law. If you are unsure whether to report a concern to the ABB Speak Up Helpline, reach out to your line manager, HR Business Partner, or the Legal & Integrity team for advice. Many concerns can be resolved directly through open dialogue.
Our ABB Speak Up Helpline is available 24/7, by phone or web, to ABB and external stakeholders, and to anonymous reports.
