As part of ABB’s values we require our suppliers to work in a way that is ethically, socially, environmentally and economically responsible. What this means in practice is outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct.

We also recognize that we have a role to play in helping our suppliers' development, so that we can contribute to each other’s long-term success. Therefore, ABB provides assistance to our suppliers in areas such as continuous process improvement, lean manufacturing, quality management and sustainability. ABB contributes to these areas by customizing development plans, sharing resources and technologies, exchanging best practices and monitoring performance. 

ABB’s structured approach to supplier qualification, performance evaluation and development enables long-term supplier success and, ultimately, contributes to better support for our customers.
