ABB Review was first published in 1914 (being called BBC Review). From the first edition, the journal’s purpose has been to inform customers of ABB’s technologies and research activities. Articles are written by ABB employees from around the world, and are read by engineers and managers in customer organizations. As such, the journal uses a technical language, speaking from engineer to engineer.

Through the eyes of machines

ABB Review is a journal connecting engineers across all industries and showcasing ABB’s innovation and research activities. The latest edition of ABB Review explores how robot vision is being embedded into control systems, how a new business model is making battery storage more accessible, how customers can customize their drives, and the latest electrification trends in mines and railways.

Women in Technology

This edition features articles authored and co-authored by women across ABB. Their voices highlight that representation matters and that STEM is not only about solving problems — it’s about imagining what’s possible.
