Effective measurement of gas quality is key to safety and reliability, decreasing the environmental footprint and increasing profitability of the production process.

Our recent partnership, with Samsung Engineering, has made us a single-source vendor for gas analyzer system integration in the kingdom – and for the first time, some of ABB’s solutions will be locally supplied. Under the agreement, ABB and Samsung are exploring business opportunities and providing complete analytical solutions to the Saudi oil and gas market.

These initiatives will be supported from our new facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, which is home to the System Integration Unit (SIU) of ABB Measurement & Analytics, alongside a production and assembly area for ABB pressure and temperature transmitters.

The 10,000-square meter Dammam site specializes in the management and design of analytical system projects to help oil refineries and petrochemical plants maximize the quality of their products.
