ABB ESG ratings and awards
An environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating is a measure of a company’s exposure to long-term environmental, social and governance risks. ABB has identified six rating providers as being the most relevant to its business activities. In 2025, our overall ESG ratings improved from 2024. We attribute this improvement to our robust governance structure and our progress toward our 2030 sustainability targets, as well as to the work we did to refine these targets further.
ABB participates in the following ESG ratings:
- CDP Climate: A
- CDP Water: A
- CDP Supplier Engagement: A
- EcoVadis Platinum medal, October 16, 2025: 84/100
