Built on ABB’s all-compatible architecture, this liquid-cooled IGBT supply unit converts AC to DC voltage for use in common DC bus drive systems. Equipped with active IGBT and low harmonic LCL filters, it ensures low harmonic content, unity power factor, and voltage boosting capabilities, even under nominal conditions. It also offers Optimal Grid Control for grid conversion and power factor correction

Energy Efficiency

Multidrives can with IGBT supply unit (ISU) which can regenerate the braking energy to the grid and also have very low harmonic content. ISU is very tolerable to network voltage variations. Waste heat can be recovered with heat exchanger.

The liquid-cooled system allows for 30% smaller footprint compared to air-cooled drive, making it ideal for space-constrained installations.
