Our AVR vision

We see three major trends in AI and technology fusion that will deliver Autonomous Versatile Robotics.

  1. Advanced mobility

    An increasing number of robots designed for commercial and industrial use are already mobile.

     

    By fusing 3D vision and new sensing technologies with AI-vision learning models, our robots now have a more complete and dynamic understanding of the world around them, creating and sharing maps of their environment for safe autonomous operations.

  2. Evolved dexterity

    Adding eyes, arms and hands to these mobile platforms increases their versatility and enables new applications.

    AI provides a new skillset in precision and dexterity for item handling.

     

    Just like humans, robots can learn how to recognize and handle objects, without prior knowledge, to pick and sort items in busy warehouses or postal operations.

     

    Robots can also work out the best way to move these items, with precise and efficient collision-free path planning that avoids people and objects.

  3. Enhanced understanding

    Generative AI powers a new level of understanding, allowing robots to hear and act on spoken instructions.

     

    Beyond a world of programming, robots can understand our language and create their own task plans, as we work towards true problem-solving intelligence.

     

    You can teach and instruct Autonomous Versatile Robots as you instruct other co-workers: through natural language and demonstration, and without the need for experience in programming or coding.
